About The Programme

Nourish & Nurture is a community-based initiative that supports families across Doncaster from pregnancy to early childhood.

Delivered by Primary Care Dietitians on behalf of Doncaster Council, it’s part of Doncaster’s Compassionate Approach to Weight - focusing on healthy habits, not numbers on a scale.

We help families build confidence with feeding, explore positive body image, and create lasting routines that make mealtimes peaceful and enjoyable.

We're Part of A Bigger Mission

In partnership with Doncaster Council, we’re putting Primary Care Dietitians’ mission into action - making early years nutrition support simple, local, and equitable.

Our integrated, community-led model delivers practical dietetic care where it’s needed most, helping commissioners and local partners to:

Improve Outcomes

Enhance early years nutrition, reduce health inequalities, and build foundations for lifelong wellbeing.

Champion Compassion

Create consistent, joined-up, and empathetic support for parents and carers across Doncaster.
